Problem
  • Food Collective, an initiative by Unilever Food Solutions, fights food waste in the Australian and New Zealand hospitality industry.
  • Central to this initiative is a loyalty program that helps chefs donate surplus food and earn rewards.
  • To scale and streamline the program, UFS required a B2B portal for online product orders, loyalty points management (tracked in Armstrong CRM), and exclusive product redemptions.
Solution

The Food Collective portal was developed on Magento 2 B2B Enterprise, serving both Australia and New Zealand.

  • Chefs and Sales Reps easily place orders, which are automatically forwarded to the preferred distributor for fulfillment.
  • Customised Magento workflows handle UFS's Loyalty program, awarding points for purchases and donated meals.
  • Integration with Armstrong CRM synchronizes orders and credits loyalty points across systems.
  • Email integration with Mailchimp manages cart abandonment and post-purchase campaigns.
  • Automated features encourage further purchases based on customer interactions with the website.
  • Elastic Search enables faster search responses.
Results
